Sunday Reflection | Come As You Are
Sometimes we think we need to get our lives together before we can come to Jesus. Break the bad habits, figure everything out, become someone we’re less ashamed of.
But if we could fix it all ourselves, why would we need a Savior?
You can come to Him with things you regret. With questions. With struggles you haven’t told anybody about. You don’t have to pretend He doesn’t already know.
Coming as you are doesn’t mean staying as you are. It means trusting Him enough to say, “Lord, I need forgiveness, and I need help changing.” And then letting Him work in your life, even in the places that are uncomfortable to face.
If you’ve been waiting until you’re “good enough” to pray, open your Bible, or walk into church, you don’t have to keep waiting. Come to Jesus today. 🤍
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 KJV
